Home with daddy!

After a week in Arizona, Bryce and I are so happy to be home again with dad. I was so sad when I realized I had forgotten my camera and could not document the trip. Bryce was meeting his Arizona cousins for the first time... but camera or not, they had so much fun together. When they send the pictures I will be sure to post.
We truly are blessed. Ty and I are heading into our third year of being married and life couldn't be happier. Bryce is hilarious, happy, and cute-as-a-button. He is starting to enjoy tummy-time now that he can hold up his head... and his strong little legs have us convinced he'll be walking in no time. ('no time' is relative, of course ;o)
Oh, and the hat isn't because it was cold in Arizona...heavens no. Cousin Colty is letting Bryce use it for a little while. Thanks Colty.

Fun with Grandpa!

Most Sundays we have dinner over at Grandma and Grandpa Biggs' house. I have so much fun playing with them... and I can't wait until I am old enough to enjoy their yummy cooking!

(the beginning of the video, Grandpa is testing his own coordination skills using Bryce's arms.)

Three months old!

The past three months have been an adventure for sure! Mom and dad are figuring out the whole 'parenting' thing... they're doing alright. They love me a lot and are doing their best, I and I love them too! I rolled over for the first time last night. I can't say I know how I did it, nevertheless, the event did take place even though there is no video or pictures to prove it, regardless of mom's long attempts. Life is great here on earth, I am so thankful to be here with so many people that love me.

Marinade me mom!

Bryce's doctor told us to put olive oil on his head and rub it in to get rid of his cradle-cap. I think Bryce kinda liked it!

Fingerpainting with clenched fists!

Where did those tears come from?

Yesterday we had a little mommy-daughter date... we let Bryce tag along too... We went to a paint-your-own-pottery place, so I decided to try and get Bryce's hand print. The little stinker was very uncooperative. I don't think he liked the feeling of goopy paint in his hand, so he just made a fist and challenged us to make him do anything. I finally shoved the paint brush in between his fingers to see if he would just mush it around enough. Even then, when it came time to place his hand, or should I say fist, it didn't turn out too well. We finally opted for the foot. That was much easier. Except by that time, he was getting really frustrated. We'll try the hands a little later. It was a lot of fun though painting with Melissa and her cute mom.

The end result... the green print is actually the result of two tries with the hand... at least you can make out a few fingers.

I love my purple Bumbo!

Just hangin' out while mom fixes dinner...

The purple one was half as much as the blue one... so naturally we got this one. Bryce feels like such a big boy sitting up. He isn't a big fan of 'tummy time' so it's nice to have something else to help strengthen his neck muscles.

Grilling in the wind!

It's really too bad that the windiest part of the year is during the summer, BBQ season. At one point, there was stuff flying everywhere. Regardless of the wind though, it is so nice to get together with friends. Bryce wasn't crazy about the wind. We did all we could to keep our little guy warm. Typically he likes being held, but he was greatly appreciating his cozy little seat.
