Emily was in town for one day...

And these are the only pictures we took. Driving to the airport, we saw this motorcycle coming our way. I wouldn't, and couldn't ever categorize myself as an animal lover, but this was awesome!
Eventually, I think the man realized we were trying to take his picture, so he switched lanes, so we could get a close up of his friend.

So happy I had my camera!

A good friend from our old volleyball team stopped by. She hadn't seen Bryce for a while and she apparently felt the need to shower him with gifts. The bubbles were his favorite! Especially when the wand is shaped like a sword! More and more I am realizing our camera needs to be replaced, since every other shot is blurry, but today I'll blame it on the bubbles.

Regardless, bubbles make great pictures!

We love Leny!

Ants make me angry

Let me tell you a little story.

A couple days ago, I noticed some random ants crawling around the car. I looked to see where they were coming from, but with only a few ants, I concluded they hitchhiked in on something else. But I kept seeing more, so yesterday I decided it was a good idea to vacuum out the car; both to clean and make sure there was no serious ant problem anywhere. I removed carpets, and literally found nothing but a few random ants.

Yeah, I can handle a few ants.

Later that day, Ty and I went to a landscaping place to find rocks for our backyard. We missed the entrance, turned into the next available place and as we turned ourselves around, we also got the ride of our lives from the pot-holed road we had turned on to.

Apparently it was quite a ride for our ants as well.

After getting to the correct parking lot, I open the back door to get Bryce and notice on the floor of the car, ants in a frenzy! I pull up the carpet to find:

Hundreds of ants, and even more ant larvae. So gross! By this time Ty was already in the store and I just start yelling for him to come out! The lady behind the counter was nice enough to find me some Windex and paper towels to clean up what I could. I tried to pay her for the paper towels, but I think she just felt sorry for me, and refused my money. Thank you nice lady.

The above two pictures are behind the passenger seat. Below was under the carpet at the foot of the front passenger seat.

I did pest control people, I have never seen anything like this! I have no idea how they got in our car, and how they managed to stay concealed from me while I vacuumed out the car, it's just crazy to me! The combination of 100 degree weather, and nasty, nasty ants... Let's just say I was very angry. Once I got home and could vacuum for a second time that day, I felt better.

Six to the Flags!

The trips started out questionable, but Bryce warmed up quickly. We decided to get a season pass, yeah for the fact that Bryce is only two, and therefore free, so just one season pass for lots of Bryce and mommy fun, with the occasional visit with dad when there's a free ticket available. Anyway, it's been really fun to go with Bryce and be at a place where he has my full attention, and I am not tempted to squeeze in laundry folding or something else productive into our "play" time at home. That's so hard for me sometimes, but here, i am all his.

Let Bryce ride a train, and he is one happy camper!

Love those two!

Why do I feel so cool when I get all the dolphins in the air?

One of our trips was with my friend Anissa and her kids (+ friends). It was surprisingly relaxing. With 12 people all together, I still find

the relaxing part shocking. I'll give all the credit to Anissa.

Bryce and I rode with these two crazies the first time, and then they wanted to go again... But my stomach couldn't handle another go around... Where has my youth gone? Spinning use to be my favorite!

And we can't forget our trip with Rylie and Colty!

Colt isn't much for pictures, he's totally holding back... Rylie, on the other hand...

Bryce doesn't normally like to get wet, but that day, striping was all his idea.

I don't plan on posting every visit, but I am certain there are many fun days to come!

SF Sunset Cruise

We scored some cheap tickets for this sunset cruise around the SF Bay, and I think we might do it again sometime. The weather was perfect, and it was just nice to try something we hadn't done before. The San Francisco Bay really is beautiful, especially viewed from on board a boat.

I know... I'm awesome with a camera. Now if I only had a nice camera...

Sausalito

Bryce loved running around. The boat would rock him back and forth, he found it hilarious when he couldn't keep his footing!

Kids five and under are free... You can't beat that!

Cutie Josie! Goodness, she's cute!

Passing Alcatraz

This is my keeping the hair out of my face, not going for a glam shot... But again, so fun! A relaxing kinda fun! Relaxing minus the fear of Bryce throwing himself overboard, but you know what I mean!
