"Get me out of here!"

Many people have told me a great way to get things done when you've got a little baby is to get a sling, backpack, or a swing. Unfortunately, our little bundle of joy doesn't like any of them. Sometimes I can't help but laugh... I guess there's not much else I can do... I may not get as much done as I use to, but I am so thankful I can be home with our little boy!

Bryce struggling to get out of the back pack!

One thing I am grateful for... after the "torture", he is always quick to forgive me.
I love my demanding, lovable little boy!

Custom Made Shoes!

Grandmama made me two pair... my mom says they're just like the ones Grandmama made for her when she was a little girl. She made me a solid white pair and these blue and white ones you see in the picture! I love them. I just wish I could walk before I outgrow them, mom says they're great for sliding across the kitchen floor! These awesome basketball sneakers were knitted by Aunt Linda! I've decided to challenge dad in a jumping contest next week... he doesn't stand a chance since I've got these little beauties! Thank you Aunt Linda and Grandmama!

Two!

Sorry if we seem cheap, but we're posting this announcement on our blog for people to see. Stamps are expensive, the time I do have - I don't exactly want to spend it addressing envelopes, and many of you I don't even have your address... so I hope you will not be bothered by this informal method. Okay, so our good friend Millie put these together for us, they turned out really cute, especially considering the fact that Bryce was fussy for most of it,
and went through several diapers. Thank you again Millie!

Our baby is two months old! I can't believe how much he's already gown. I put him in his first overalls today - yes, I am my mother's daughter, overalls on little kids and old men farmers is always a wonderful thing! Anyway, he's growing so fast. His favorite thing is the ceiling fan, he is laying on our bed this very moment watching it intently! Lucky for us, we moved into a house with fans in every room.

I love you Grandma and Grandpa Carlson!

Bryce has been asking me to post a pic of Grandma and Grandpa Carlson... he loves them so much, but doesn't get to see them very often. Here they are... Bryce is the one in the middle ;o)

Grandma and cousins!

my favorite Spring!

Sammie and me!

It's so nice to have a grandma so close that I can play games with and spit up on!

Mom and me...

Bow to the Bryce... Splits!
Exercise balls are good for more than exercising!
He's with my baby blanket... I feel kinda bad about this picture,
I think it makes him look like a girl.

I love my sweet little boy!

Aunt Em!

Bryce had to wait a long time before he finally got to see his Aunt Emily. They are great buds now and he loves being with her as much as he can!
