The stink-eye!

Bryce has the most hilarious facial expressions. As stated in the post's title, we have come to call it "the stink-eye"... We just love watching him sleep and waiting for his next face! His dreams must be awesome!

This one looks like he's smokin' something... rest assured he is 100% drug free!

The first Blow-Out!

Ty and I were crying from laughter! Bryce spent the first week losing weight and checking in high on the billy scale... and since he was such a tiny baby, we were definitely concerned. He is now doing great, but one of the signs of his high Billy Ruben was that he hadn't been pooping.

Well, after checking in with the doctor on Friday, we were left in the hospital room to gather our things when I smelt something stinky. We were thrilled to find Bryce had messed his pants and lay ed him on the hospital bed to change him. After removing the diaper and with daddy raising his bottom in the air so mom could wipe, Bryce let it loose all over the bed. I then jinxed us and commented ' at least he didn't pee everywhere'... I shouldn't have said that. He peed EVERYWHERE! On the pillow, on mom and dad, on the floor, his clothes, all managed before Ty could cup his hand to stop the spray! We've got one talented kid I'd say! Not to mention a happy one once he could finally poop!

This was taken before the mess of course!

Baby Bryce Is Here!!

Bryce arrived on Saturday, May 16th at 5:50 PM. He weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Tammy and Bryce are both doing great. He is such a joy to have in our home. It is amazing the peaceful feelings felt when there is a new baby in your home. We are so grateful to our loving Heavenly Father, to have trusted us with the sacred responsibility of being parents. Anyway, We know you all just want to see pictures, so here are a few. Thank you again for your love, support, and prayers!

41" and Still Growing!

Hello all...

Many of you have probably guessed the baby has arrived, due to the fact that I haven't posted in a while. Unfortunately that is not the case - Ty and I are still waiting. Perhaps it's a good thing since we hadn't exactly documented some very important details, like the baby room and the belly housing the baby. So here are the shelf pictures I promised my grandma. Dad and Ty built the shelves, which were inspired by my collection of chevron cars given to me over the years by my mom and grandparents! I love how the shelves look and can't wait to show baby Bryce his new room and all the fun toys he will eventually become interested in.

Waiting for Grandma!

I have decided that our baby boy wants to wait until grandma Biggs gets home from Arizona before joining us. I keep hoping he'll come sooner than later... but I suppose he'll come when he's good and ready. I get the feeling I am learning my first official lesson of parenthood... Kids have their own timetable and there's not a whole lot we can do about it. I hear giggles from all you seasoned parents out there, just remember you were once a new parent too!

Counting my Blessings

With the baby's arrival soon approaching, I have been thinking a lot about the many things I have already been blessed with ... To think about my loving Heavenly Father and all He has already given me, and then to realize there is so much more to come ...

Coming up on two years, Ty and I were married and sealed in the Oakland Temple and we couldn't be happier. Time goes by so fast though, we can't believe we get to be parents... any day now!

I feel it a huge responsibility, but more a divine privilege to be a mother and help bring another child of God into the world. Ty and I, of course are a little nervous, but are incredibly anxious for our beautiful son to be with us and to bless our home. Our wedding day was the perfect day, and though we don't anticipate a perfect labor, we are thrilled to have a perfect little person grace our lives with his presence.

I cannot express how thankful I am to have such a wonderful husband. Ty is the best person I have ever known and it brings me so much peace knowing he is by my side for all eternity. I will forever be grateful for his loving example and influence. He is going to be the best daddy! Well, two of us will think so!
One more thing, I did have a picture ready to go from our actual wedding day, but it was from my mom's computer. I am at home now and I accidentally deleted it... so sad... so in the meantime I guess this one will have to do. :o)
